Information sent on behalf of Nottinghamshire Police
Rushcliffe Overview
In the last year, levels of crime in Rushcliffe have reduced by over 16% which refers to nearly 800 fewer offences. The greatest volume reductions have been across vehicle crime (-260); criminal damage (-163); VAP with Injury (-91), Dwelling burglary (-86) and drug offences (-85). The force as a whole achieved an 8% reduction and so the reduction in Rushcliffe is double this. When compared to crime levels 5 years ago, levels are almost half what they were (-48%).

In addition to nearly 800 fewer offences in the Rushcliffe Borough, there were also 574 fewer Anti-Social Behaviour incidents when compared to the previous year. This is more than double the reduction achieved in the Force area as a whole. When compared to ASB levels 5 years ago, there has been a 40% reduction.

Trent Bridge
There has been a 22% reduction in all crime which is the greatest volume reduction achieved in any beat in the Rushcliffe borough over the last year (-137). The greatest volume reductions have been achieved across vehicle crime and theft. The reduction achieved exceeds the reduction achieved in the Rushcliffe borough as a whole and is more than twice the reduction achieved across the Force as a whole. Over the same period there has been a 17% reduction in Anti-Social Behaviour, which is in line with the borough reduction and almost double the reduction achieved across the Force as a whole. When looking at longer terms trends, over the last 5 years crime levels in Trent Bridge beat have reduced by a half (-50%) and Anti-Social Behaviour levels by 38%.
